Interns

Eleanor Swannell

Eleanor is a second-year Sociology undergraduate at Durham University, currently interning with Addressing Domestic Abuse CIC. With practical experience working with underprivileged children at Free To Be Kids, Eleanor brings a unique insight and appetite to learn to her internship.

Her keen interest in safeguarding, policy, and research relating to children informs her plans join the workforce in this area. Her role at ADA CIC will give her the practical knowledge and skills required for her future employment, while supporting an organisation whose values she wholly believes in.

Eleanor’s enthusiasm and eagerness to learn will allow her to support research reports and projects, participate in seminars and workshops, and raise awareness of the significant issue of domestic abuse. Through her internship, Eleanor hopes to expand the conversations and support others in developing their knowledge around domestic abuse.
