Regulatory Compliance Planning (Housing)

The Social Housing (Regulation) Act (2023), enacted in April 2024, set out changes to the consumer regulation of social housing to strengthen the accountability of landlords for providing safe homes, quality services and treating residents with respect.

This includes housing providers being regulated on having a policy setting out how they will tackle issues surrounding domestic abuse and working with other agencies as appropriate.

ADA works with housing organisations to support them to ensure regulatory compliance in relation to domestic abuse. This includes assessing undertaking health checks on current approaches, identifying strengths & areas for development in order to reach the standard for compliance and importantly, provide a good response to residents.
